Barclay Butera's West Hollywood highlights-- shops, Happy Hours and light therapy facials- all a walk away!
Interior design darling Barclay Butera is one of our favorite people and favorite designers. With a gorgeous and inspirational shop and showroom on La Cienega in the epicenter of West Hollywood, we asked him for some of his go to neighborhood haunts within walking distance.
To not have to get in your car and drive in LA is a luxury New Yorkers marvel at. Here are Barclay's recs, all within walking distance (a few blocks at most!) from his showroom on La Cienega.
SHOP
Barclay loves this interior design shop as it is "clever" and one can find a lot of "nice surprises."
Another interior design showroom that Barclay enthusiastically describes as fun, inventive and creative. Mid-century gems mixed in with other more traditional delights.
A glam meets rustic leather goods jewelbox sized shop selling handmade leather clutches, wallets, beaded Native American inspired jewelry and more.
EAT/DRINK/BE MERRY
Yes, Nobu is fabulous and delicious, we all know that. What we didn't know that Barclay tipped us off to, is that they have a fantastic Happy Hour! Everyday from 5-7pm and all night every Wednesday. Cheers.
On Sundays, mix your own Bloody Marys! Just how you like it. Barclay loves the salads here for lunch as well-- seared sesame tuna as well as the caprese.
RELAX and LOOK GOOD
For a flawless and glowing complexion, Barclay loves visiting his neighbor, Geri G for a light therapy facial. We're going to see what all the fuss is about when we see her next week! Will report back.
