Just ten minutes north of Los Olivos, CA, one of our "soul sister" places where we're working on our own wine with our family (!!), lies the "wild west" town of Los Alamos.  A sleepy main street conjures up images of the great Western films and Lonesome Dove.  The perfect stage set Union Hotel anchors the main drag and offers a saloon and rooms to stay the night... if you dare.  Dust off your cowboy boots, take off your hat and have lunch at the fabulous and six months old Bell Street Farm.  Bright and cheery, Bell Street Farm is like an oasis in the wild west serving deeeelicious sandwiches, chicken pot pies, salads, and so on.  Owner Jamie Gluck is upbeat, friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a regular on your first visit.

After lunch, walk a few doors down to the Casa Dumetz tasting room and find delightful, personable winemaker Sonja Magdevski pouring tastes of her varietals while answering questions about the wines as well as the area.  Housed in a historic building, Babi's Tasting Room feels like a good friend's house oozing Southwestern charm.  The perfect spot to swill the delectable Casa Dumetz Viognier, Grenache, Rose, well all of her wines!  Cheers to the freaking weekend!!
