Celebrating her latestet book with author Jill Kargman at Chanel last night! by Mary

Jill has always been a girl to look up to.  Having gone to the same high school (Taft-- go Big Red!), and being friends with her little brother Will, Jill was the effortlessly chic and wittily smart writer who would be intimidating but is so warm and outgoing you find yourself wanting to adopt her as the big sister you never had....  Her latest book, "Sometimes I Feel Like a Nut," is a collection of essays and observations that may well serve as a "big sister-esque" manual for how to navigate life not taking yourself too seriously! I am tucking it into my bag to read by the pool in Palm Springs this weekend!!

Last night's celebration at the Chanel store on Robertson in West Hollywood was fabulous and fun with a cool young crowd that felt a little more NYC than LA-- perhaps due to Jill's New York roots.  There were too many things to lust after in the store, for example:
