In between wine tastings up in the Santa Ynez Valley last week we stumbled into the just opened Waxing Poetic jewelry store.  Housed in the most picturesque restored craftsman cottage in the heart of Los Olivos, Waxing Poetic is the only store in town to buy anything other than wine, home goods or Western wear.  The concept of the store is choose your chain, and then select personalized charms-- from antique looking letters in rose gold, gold, brass or silver, to pendants depicting everything from luck, to love to your sorority Greek letters.  The prices are also incredibly reasonable.  We love the look of the longer chains with a few of the letter charms in different styles.  These necklaces make the perfect gift for yourself or others!
