Embracing your inner teeny-bopper. MattyB, Greyson Chance, a Debbie Gibson appearance...by Lucy

Every now and then we all need an excuse to embrace our inner teeny-bopper.  I was delightfully surprised that the event I attended on Saturday night provided me with just that opportunity.  The evening kicked off with a performance by eight year-old, rap sensation MattyB.  He is honestly one of the more  adorable children you have ever seen and while he first looked tiny on a big stage, his charisma spoke for itself!

Greyson Chance hit the stage next. A 12 year-old with insane pipes and stage presence. He did an impressive rendition of Jay-Z's "New York" and also sang his new single "Waiting Outside the Lines." Justin Bieber better watch out, this kid is hot on his tail.

Other highlights were Macy Gray and a provocative performance by Dita Von Teese - who is essentially sex on stage without being dirty, purely art.  However, Debbie Gibson truly made me feel thirteen again when she made a surprise  appearance and performed "Only In My Dreams."  She still has a rock star body too! All around a fun night...
