Grace Potter/Robert Plant concert at The Shrine!!
We were thrilled to go and rock with our two favorite rockstars Grace Potter and her brand new husband (!!), drummer Matt Burr of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals Wednesday night at the Shrine. They opened for Robert Plant, former front man of Led Zeppelin, not Pink Floyd as Lu had mistakenly thought... I teased her about where all the Pink Floyd t-shirts were on the slightly older hippie crowd.
Grace brought the house down and played some of our favorite songs including "Stars." Frankly, no offense to Robert, we wish they could have gone on to sing a few more like "Apologies" and "The Lion the Beast the Beat." Grace looked smashing in a one of a kind white sequin bat-wing Diane von Furstenberg gown.
After the show we congratulated the happy new officially married couple and confirmed that the name of mine and Napper's son will most likely be "Grace" as just about 9 months ago was when we all last hung out after their show at the Wiltern.... Let me recommend a Grace Potter concert to any of you ladies looking to get knocked up!
Lots of love to Grace and Matt and hurry back to LA!! xoxoxo
