Happy 4th of July!!!

Clearly we wish we were going to be bundled in fisherman's sweaters on vintage boats this holiday weekend...   Here are some recipes we will be enjoying on land.  Happy 4th!!  xoxo

4th of July Turkey Meatball Poppers!

recipe compliments of Lexi Beerman

1lb lean white meat turkey1/2 cup (or more) grated Parmesan cheese1/4 cup bread crumbs3 tsp capers plus some juice2tbs olive oilSplash of white wine3 tbs of half & half2 decent pinches of sea salt34 grinds on pepper millPinch cayenne pepperPinch ground coriander2 decent sprinkles of dill1 clove minced garlic1 tsp dijon mustard

Mix with hands and then separate into small balls & sauté in butter - brown both sidesTransfer to pre-sprayed cookie sheet (I added excess butter from sauté to cookie sheet)Bake at 350 for about 7 - 10 minutes - or until cooked!!!

Festive 4th White Wine Sangria

1 bottle of white wine

Blueberries,  cut strawberries, cut star fruit

Half liter club soda

Optional 2/3 cup of sugar
