“I enjoy working one-on-one with my clients to establish and refine their wardrobe. Sometimes it means working with beloved items in their closets that just need tailoring to update. In other cases, it means building out a timeless collection with great seasonal pieces.” -Anna
Look 1 – Black cocktail dress with layered colorful gems
For your holiday events that are cocktail attire/black tie this is a great way to look pulled together and festive. You can never go wrong with a beautifully fitting figure complimenting black dress. Most importantly look for one that suits your figure and compliments your body type and also that you feel 150% confident in – confidence is more than half of personal style!! Later you can accessorize it and edit it as we have done here to add more of your personality. We layered three necklaces to create one big statement necklace effect. Have fun with different gem types and colors but try to keep an over all theme in mind. The necklaces used here all feel like they could have come from an heirloom jewel collection. You have a lot of room to play with the shoe as far as styles go, but keep the shoe strappy and bare, nothing too heavy or chunky will work here.

Look 2 - Chic blazer with slim leather trouser and necktie/ascot
This look is great for a range of events around the holidays that do not necessarily call for cocktail attire. Here we were inspired by a slightly masculine vibe with a strong well fitting tuxedo/smoking jacket, a trouser (here we did leather) and a colorful silk scarf styled as an ascot. We added a leopard print pointed toe pump for another pop of print to play off the ascot. A simple white or black blazer gets the point across but do not be afraid to go for a velvet option like the one below from Zara. As for the layer under the jacket, a simple silk cami is great as it is slim under the jacket but not totally out of line with the style if you need to remove your jacket. When looking for the perfect silk scarf to use as a neck tie, the more rectangular the better for tying however if you have mostly square use the largest you have and slim it down when folding it. Wrapping it once or twice covering most of the neck and then tying it right in the middle with more of a square knot will give the effect of an ascot.

Look 3- Vintage inspired – Printed kimono jacket with sequin skirt and rocker suede to the knee boot.
From a holiday dinner party to more of a fun holiday party you will not be out of place in this eclectic fashion forward look. Heavily inspired by a 70s rock star wife – think Bianca Jagger or Patti Hansen. Here we used a silk printed kimono jacket with dramatic sleeves and an off print sequin skirt for texture and additional color. The suede knee boot pulls everything together and creates an over all theme. A bold mid calf or statement ankle boot will garner the same affect.

Look 4- Casual pulled together fashion forward- your best dark denim trouser, statement jacket and coordinated flat boot.
For a holiday brunch or Saturday afternoon drinks, a solid pair of denim jeans and a basic t shirt will do the trick as long as you sprinkle on the accessories to anchor the look. Here we used a statement jacket in sequin, which is always fun around the holidays, a wintry wool hat that is along the same color palate as the other accessories and a cool flat boot. When putting on your first layer (the jeans and t shirt) keep in mind fit with both and be sure the t shirt is crisp and tucked in so it does not appear messy. We also added a red lip which looks great to finish off the look – if red is too much of a stretch for you try some softer crushed berry tones in a matte finish.
