The best late night bar in Venice- not just a gay bar!!

Roosterfish on Abbot Kinney Blvd. in Venice is a turquoise institution.  They've been in business for over 30 years slinging drinks on this now most fabulous stretch in Venice.  We'd always noticed it of course and thought it looked like fun, but weren't sure if we were welcome as it is well known as being a gay bar.  Well, well, well, friends, Roosterfish is our favorite new late night bar!

Open til 2 AM, Roosterfish was hopping with a friendly crowd of gay, straight, male and female customers when we stopped by the other night after first Fridays as our last stop.  It's much bigger than it appears when walking by with high beamed ceilings and exposed brick walls.

One word of warning-- the cocktails here are strong!!  Trust us.

Maybe stick to beer.
