TOMS SHOES new collection inspired by Dan Eldon

We love Toms shoes-- they are colorful and comfortable and they give back.  For every pair purchased, a child in need gets a pair of shoes.  It makes sense then that Toms would team up with Creative Visions, a non-profit near and dear to our hearts that we have worked with and helped support for years.  Creative Visions was started by our close friends Amy Eldon-Turteltaub and her mother Kathy Eldon to celebrate the life of Dan Eldon, Amy's brother who was the youngest photojournalist ever for Reuters.  He was passionate about Africa, photography and life.  At the age of 22 he was stoned to death by an angry mob in Somalia following the UN bombing of Mogadishu, Somalia.  His passion and his art are kept alive through Creative Visions, a foundation which helps to educate, support and provide resources for creative activists all over the world....

Toms latest collection is inspired by the life of Dan Eldon and we're loving it.  Mary received about a million compliments and queries about the red wedges which she wore all over New Orleans last week.  They are comfortable and chic!
