Waterproof, durable, colorful travel bags- SCOUT.

We discovered Scout bags thanks to our tastemaker friend Heather who has a small boutique on the Long Island Sound.  During a pre-hurricane shop, we were delighted to find an array of colorful, water resistant bags from small cooler bags (ideal for transporting cocktails!) to beach bags, to overnight weekenders to small zipper pouches (perfect for cell phones, keys and money in a beach bag) all by a brand we'd never heard of (go Heather!)-- Scout.

Founded in 2004, the mantra of the original Bungalow collection for Scout is very similar to our Firestone Sisters essence, "it's about finding a comfortable way of living that's not too serious, but one that makes you feel good about being there."  They started with a tote- they noticed a gap in the market for affordable, colorful, well made tote bags.

Now they have several lines and a wide array of products-- all of them vibrant.  We love how Scout products are all about enhancing a "lifestyle," and that even if that lifestyle is school/dorm, it is upbeat, inspired and inspiring!  As it should be.
