Get to the Hamptons in style with StndAIR!

Traffic out to the Hamptons on the weekends can be brutal and threaten to reverse the positive effects of sea air and relaxing on the beach.  Enter StndAIR, a seaplane brought to us by Andre Balazs, hotelier -- yes, he is the man behind the illustrious and fabulous Chateau Marmont in LA beloved by us as well as A-lister celebs.  In just 45 minutes, the little red sea plane will deliver you from NYC to Shelter Island in the Hamptons.  And you need only arrive 15 minutes prior to departure.  It can get pricey with one way tickets at peak times going for around $495, but off peak flights are advertised as starting at $99 which seems well worth it.  You can also charter the 8 seater for around $3200 to the Hamptons, or around $6000 for destinations like Nantucket and Provincetown.
