It lived up to the hype!  Book of Mormon, the musical by the gents behind South Park is funny and charming in a raunchy way and clever.  Playing at the stunning Pantages Theater in Hollywood through February 2013, the show is one not to be missed.  On a recent Sunday evening Napper and I had a date that started with sunset drinks at Drai's (yes of Las Vegas) on the rooftop of the newly opened W Hotel just across the street from the theater.  It was an ideal spot to see the sun set on Hollywood.  Drai's also looks like it gets nightclub crazy as the night goes on with (stripper) poles adjacent to crescent shaped leather booths and glossy floors...   I must note how friendly the staff was, too.  Usually at clubs and popular spots some attitude can accompany the service.  Not so at Drai's.  Lovely staff.

After drinks we hit the show, had some laughs and then crossed the street for a post-theater dinner at Cleo in the also recently opened darling of a hotel the Redbury. They tell you the brussel sprouts are famous and they really should be if they're not.  Best brussel sprouts have ever ingested.  Actually, every single dish we had was outstanding.  We will certainly return for more!  The whole evening was the perfect way to end the week-- feeling inspired by the city I live in and my partner in crime.  xox
