Be Delicious: New delightful hidden gem in Soho, NYC! CICCIO is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Straight from Florence, the charming Giacomo gave up a career behind a desk in Italy to conjure up delicious Tuscan dishes in the kitchen of his newly opened Ciccio restaurant in the "South Village" -- just West of Soho and South of the West Village in New York City. Giacomo, and his lovely wife Sam, renovated the intimate space themselves and the result is whitewashed brick walls, exposed wood beams, and sexy modern/vintage lightbulbs dimly illuminating the space. Giacomo's native Tuscan fare is divine and flavorful while still somehow being light. Hearty yet light wild boar ragu pappardelle and ricotta cheesecake, but how?! But somehow it is so at Ciccio. Just open for dinner for three weeks, Ciccio is now serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, and while we're in the neighborhood it will become our haunt-- we could easily head to this chic, friendly spot three times a day.
