Destination Wedding! Lucy and Hayden Get Married.
What a week! And a week that ended with Lucy and Hayden as a married couple. A Mr. and Mrs! It was a full week of celebrations in one of our favorite soul sister spots, Harbour Island in the Bahamas. Ben and Charlie of Ocean View Club handled all of the wedding prep and execution flawlessly (even in the face of power outages and generator failures! Truly an unflappable duo.).
The wedding was on the beach, as you can see, with the reception following in a glorious tent right on the pink sand. We love a wedding where you don't ever have to put your shoes on. Dinner was a delicious stone crab salad to start, followed by local fish and wedding cake for dessert. I know I am biased as MOH, but it was the best food I've ever had at a wedding. Wine and rum flowed and the dance floor was a happening scene with Hayden's playlist DJ'd by a fellow named Zo who they flew in. A surprise performance by the Junkanoo around a fire pit was another highlight of the eve.
Some of us stayed up til dawn! Lu and Hayden are recharging on a honeymoon in Greece. This MOH sends them love and the happiest of honeymoon wishes! And wishes she could go, too.
