We discovered elizabethW perfumes and lotions this summer and agree with the founder's assertion that scent is the strongest sense that ties us to memories. Based in San Francisco, elizabethW is a boutique perfumery delivering scents that harken back to childhood fun of running through the woods, playing in a rose garden or helping out in a kitchen laden with fresh rosemary and basil.
In addition to the perfumes which range from flowery Lilac and Rose to woodsy, musky Vetiver and Leaves, elizabethW has lotions, travel bags, and perfect little hostess gifts!
One thing we particularly love are the "Purse Perfumes." The 1/2 fluid ounce size and $20 price tag allow for a little experimentation until you find your signature scent. Or give us the opportunity to use a different scent based on our mood. We've been loving the Vetiver which is described as "earthy, woody and confident." Bring it!! However, as fall sets in there is a certain nostalgia hanging in the air, and maybe a spritz of Magnolia would bring back the feeling of those summer nights through the mingling of magnolia, sandalwood and gardenia? It's worth a try.
