Fall Football- what to wear, eat and drink!
I never was much of a football fan until "Friday Night Lights." That's right, my interest in football and basic understanding of the game was cemented thanks to a television show. This past Saturday, I was excited to be going to the USC football game- it was perfect fall weather (chilly, slightly overcast) AND as it turns out it was Homecoming! Here is essentially what I wore:
Having graduated from Princeton which has legendary school spirit, I was delighted to witness that the USC Trojans appear to rival the Princeton Tigers in spirit. The campus and surrounding areas were a mass of undulating maroon and gold, Trojan hats were commonplace, and gentlemen in their 60s were pre-gaming at tailgates reliving their pledging days on campus. The game was thrilling and USC trounced Washington 40-17. What a festive and fun fall day. Who knew I would ever be a football fan?
