Get glossy, frizz-free hair with a natutal cellophane treatment at PIERO SALON in Santa Monica

We both battle a bit of frizz and our hair can feel dry from color and styling so we were delighted to learn about the plant based Cellophane Treatment at Piero Salon in Santa Monica!  Diane, the hip owner of Piero who has been running the bustling salon since the early 90s and has seen and saved all kinds of hair, explained the Sebastian Cellophane product would seal the hair shaft making it glossy and smooth and lasts for up to six weeks.  Delightful!

After a shampoo, the product is applied to hair with a paint brush in sections.  Hair is then covered with a shower cap and you sit and let the product "cook" under the dryer for 15 minutes.  After cooling, the product is shampooed out and then blown dry -- Nina did a sensational job, she managed to give our hair volume while still keeping it sleek.   Our hair was absolutely lustrous, shiny and soft!  We felt like the Pantene girls in those commercials shaking their hair around!

Diane has been working with color for over two decades and tailors each color process to the individual.  Her passion for hair is felt throughout the salon -- each person we spoke with in the salon had a story about Diane encouraging them to develop their talents in the arena of hair!  Diane also helped us select the right shampoo and conditioner for our hair-- we wound up with Davines Dede Delicate Ritual Shampoo and Melu Mellow Anti-Breakage Lustrous Conditioner and our hair has never felt better.  This is clearly a woman who knows hair!
