On my own in NYC for a whole day (and a half)!

I was just back for a blissful two-ish days on my own in NYC on my way to and from my high school reunion.  Luckily, I have my mother's apartment in Soho as a home base- if I didn't, I would have loved to have checked out the Ludlow or maybe found a cute place to rent on onefinestay.com.  Here are some of my (mostly) new discoveries not to miss on your next trip:

 8:30  Morning coffee and an egg and cheddar bomb from Milk Bar by Momofuku on Wooster St.

 9: 30  Taryn Toomey's the class

11: 30 Green juice from Juice Press

12:00 Shopping at Zimmermann, Band of Outsiders (they were having a sample sale!!), Warm & Otte

2:00 Pizza slice from Ben's Pizza

5:00 Afternoon tea or early evening drinks in the garden at Laduree (are we in Paris?  It feels like it.)

7:30 Dinner at Little Prince

9:30 Nightcap at Navy
