Superba Food & Bread! New spot on evolving Lincoln Blvd.
Could it be that Lincoln Boulevard is becoming delightful? Lincoln has existed as mostly just an unattractive thoroughfare populated by used car dealerships, gas stations and strip malls offering nail salons and donut shops. However! Stylish new spots are opening up every week it seems. The latest, is lovely newcomer Superba Food & Bread. Doors opened Friday morning for the coffee and breakfast rush. It is truly such a pleasant, fresh, open, light, airy and inviting space. The coffee was excellent, especially with steamed hazelnut milk that they make onsite. I tried the baked eggs - two eggs served over a stew of tomatoes, peppers and Middle Eastern spices, served with grilled bread. Delicious, and next time I'm trying the breakfast sandwich! Of course we had to have "dessert," and the vanilla cinnamon bun was delectable. What a lovely way to start the day enjoying a breakfast feast in such a vibrant, spacious and calm atmosphere. Can't wait to return for dinner! Sidebar note-- they are only serving wine and beer at the moment....
