To get you all in the mood, here is a recipe for the BEST stuffing ever.  Mary's mother-in-law Nancy Tandy has shared this sinful recipe which we'll be making Thursday!!

Sinful Stuffing

1 large package of -Herbed Pepperidge Farm  Stuffing

(not cornbread or cubed, more like large crumbs- they now have at least 3 kinds but get the kind that says "Herbed")

Bell Seasoning-small yellow box with a turkey on the front (in the spice section)

Jones Sausage  in a round tube or any package like Jimmy Dean but it must be classic sausage  not extra spicy etc. (Jones is normally in the frozen section)

Chicken Broth- Free Range Organic if you can Trader Joes has good ones and they have boxes of turkey gravy to supplement your own

Butter

Onions

Celery

Salt

Pepper

Place the stuffing in a large bowl and add about 1 tsp of salt and ½ tsp of pepper

Add about 1 tblspn of Bell Seasoning

Mix well

Finely chop one large onion and one med onion

Finely chop about 4 stalks of celery

Saute the onion and celery together in about 2-3 tablespoons of butter on low to med heat until translucent

Brown the sausage separately breaking into small pieces and set aside

Add the sauteed vegetables and the sausage to the dry stuffing mix and toss well

Now add the chicken broth- I have never measured any of this so I would start with 1 cup and add until moist but not soggy

Taste as you go and see if you like it

Place in a casserole dish tightly covered for about 45 minutes-you are really just heating it thoroughly not cooking it. Even the microwave can work if your oven is jammed.
