Endless Summer Cocktail

Pequot dancing

We were introduced to a terribly chic yet bohemian new cocktail over the weekend that sounds glamorous and tastes delicious-- St. Germain.  St. Germain is made from elderflowers in the French Alps and has a flowery but not sweet taste. Suggestions of citrus, lychee, pear maybe, and definitely summer-- in a Paris cafe or the New England coastline.  To make this effortless cocktail mix the following in a tall glass with ice:

2 shots of champagne, proseco, or dry white wine

1 1/2 shots of St. Germain

2 shots of sparkling water or club soda

garnish with a lemon twist

We will be keeping the summer of 2009 alive with this sexy new cocktail.  Cheers!Images-1
